上海合作组织副秘书长索海尔·汗表示，在全球气候变暖、地缘政治竞争加剧和世界经济发展形势不确定的背景下，推广生态可持续农业和提高食品安全标准的问题尤为重要。农业生产和食品安全保障一直是全球各国普遍关注的基本民生问题之一。加强农业领域的国际合作，共同推动农业生产现代化转型，共同保障粮食安全，已经成为国际社会的共识和合作的优先方向。
